I had a little conure that liked to slip a little tongue into my mouth! No lie! I prefer to kiss the top of the upper mandible so they don't get all those icky people germs, though.

Dogs like to french. They wait for an opening and then in goes the tongue. (Folk remedy for colds: let a big dog lick your face for as long as you can stand it.) Birds, at least parakeets, are surprisingly enthusiastic kissers. Cat kissing is usually not mutual. I'll kiss my cat and get nothing in return. But when he wants to kiss me, its straight on the lips with that piece of wet sandpaper they use for a tongue and it always means he wants to be petted endlessly.
