More powerful: Queen Elizabeth or JK Rowling?
Politically, the Queen might have an edge on Jo Rowling, but I think influentially, Rowling has the queen beat.

What say you all?

has more money than the queen, and is 126th in England overall (money-wise, that is).

That's hard to believe that she's only 126th richest in England! Although, I'll bet there are quite a few old dukes, earls and other former "royalty" members with "old money."

I'm sure that Paul McCartney for one, is even richer.

The influence that Rowling wields, however, over younger people must be enormous. It hasn't been since the likes of JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis that fantasy has played such a large part in the lives of so many!
