Poll question: Should I go to my church tomorrow?
Chances are, my ex will be there - but I'd stay in the other corner and stay afterwards to go to the Healing Chair area...

1. Why not go to your old one?

2. My old one?
Where I went to as a child and, amongst other things, got sexually assaulted there? No thanks.

I only recognize one and that's the one I've sporadically been going to for 5 years now.

3. Good reason not to go to the old one. What's the new one?

5. Yes, I think you should go.
Otherwise you are cutting yourself off from the resources and relationships you have there.

6. A third alternative would be to find another gay-friendly church but
your old church has a supportive network of friends (I hope!) that a new one would not have in place yet.

So my vote is to go, sit on the other side away from your ex, and muddle through.

7. You should go and be proud of who you are
Don't hide in a corner. Don't give up what you've come to know and feel comfortable with just because of an ex.

PS could you remind me I said this when it comes time to go to a function that MY ex will be at?

:)
