What was the best day of your life, and what made it so?
I had a perfect day one September day in the late 90's. We woke up early on Sunday morning, got bagel sandwiches and coffee, and drove to Concord, to stand in line and buy Bruce Springsteen tickets. Not only did we wind up with excellent side seats, we also wound up with 2nd row right-center (!!!!!) on another night. We then spent the day at Gay Day at the local waterslide park with a bunch of my very best friends, and the weather was warm and glorious and the scenery amazing. That evening, back at home we had a sensational dinner of fried chicken & assorted goodies, and watched the Emmy awards.

Nothing hugely emotionally significant, just one of those days that started out terrific and just got better and better.

So, what was yours?

2. Drove from Van Buren, Arkansas
to Fayetteville, through Mountainburg, on a foggy, chilly day. I was next to man I loved and we had hope for the future.
