over my computer. It has three problems, all new today. One I can solve by calling my ISP, no problem. The other is just a general question I can get an answer to at any time. But the third, has my nerves completely shot, over something stupid.
I will donate at least $10 to DU if anyone can help me.
Here it is: I turn on my computer a few minutes ago, and for some unkown reason, my browser, (IE version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519)has completely changed appearance. My search bar is gone, and my links have all been moved to where I have to click on "links" on the top of the toolbar to bring a drop down menu up to select from.
The last thing I did was add an email account name to my Outlook Express, so I don't see what that would have to do with it, but suspiciously now my original email account won't log on now (hence my earlier reference to calling my ISP). I only mention it because it is the only unusual thing I have done today.
Just yesterday I completely scanned my system using 3 different spyware programs, so I don't think I could have gotten infected this morning because I only went to two websites, MSNBC and one I go to every day related to my industry.
Why could my browser's features have changed? And how do I change them back? I will donate $10 (more) to DU if anyone can help me solve this problem without much hassle. Thanks in advance.
