Is eating a buzz kill?
I personally (well not from personal experience of course) think it is an old wives tale, that if you eat, you come down.
Perhaps is was started by the cartel to make you smoke after too.

3. I have heard it for years....
You smoke, you eat (usually a meal) and you come down.
Must be a local thing.

2. It depends on what it is you're eating...
Sure, digesting takes energy and some foods (Turkey most notably)
contain lethargy inducing substances. But, other foods and drinks
contain stimulants.
