I'll say it again - AOL has FUCKING dumb people

Not everyone on AOL is a braindead idiot, but holy shit, a lot of the dumbest fucking people in America are AOL people.

I'm watching "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire" and a question comes up, and the contestant does the "ask the audience".

Of the studio audience, 98 or 99% pick the correct answer.

Of the AOL audience - and this happens EVERY FUCKING TIME - 50% picked the correct answer, and theother 50% were evenly divided among the other three questions.

And to make even worse - here's the question:

"What kind of fruit grows on a vine?" The answers were "Pears, Bananas, Canteloupe, Lemons".

Can you believe this shit? 50% of AOL subscribers don't think canteloupe grows on vines, and 16 2/3% of AOLers believe lemons, pears, and bananas DO grow on vines, even when offered the correct choice of "canteloupe".

People who CHOOSE AOL, and are not FORCED into it, are the WalMart loser scum of the nation.

Though I had no idea what the answer was either.

The question was what does Oprah call her annual christmas gift show.

Obviously, this is a question that only the dumbest of people would know the answer to, because smart people don't watch that overweight, overbearing, overdone, fucking fake useless narcissistic piece of shit.

Read the AOL news message boards or go into the news chats (or "LIBS SUCK" as I've long called them). I had no idea how widespread American sub-literacy was until I started trolling those boards. They make FR look like a MENSA meeting.

(For the record, I've been on AOL for more than 12 years, dating back to when it wasn't a haven for the under-educated masses. I stay because I have many AOL friends.)

I picture obese women with big hair, or men with teflon hair, who buy candles in the shape of the cross with the colors of the stars and stripes on them who post while contemplating the kind of blowjob their "spiritually pure" Jesus Crispy pastor with the Lexus and the 4500 square foot house will want at the next "counseling session" and deciding what kind of anti-adultery sign for the abortion clinmic protest, or anti-homosexual sign for the anti-gay protest, they will want to make.
