Woodpigeons in Australia get drunk from Guava tree

A BBC report of an Australian animal rescue team who is often overwhelmed with drunken woodpigeons. They eat the Guava and then the fruit falls down. Then it ferments and when they come back and eat the fruit they get totally drunk and fall out of the sky. People bring the drunk woodpigeons in and the Animal controll folks do the best they can to sober them up. In about 2 days they are back to normal. It is not clear whether they learn the difference between non-fermented and fermented Guava fruit.
