Geriatric Cat and Milk Replacer (KMR)
I have a aged cat who needs a boost. She is a picky eater and I have been using KMR milk replacer along with her food. The KMR is a bit pricey at $16.00 for 12 oz powder at the feed store. I was wondering if any of you all know of a substitute that is cheaper. I was looking in the baby food department and found soybean formula but I don't know if this safe for cats. Any help is greatly appreciated.

1. I've had good luck fattening up sickly geriatric cats on kitten food.
If you stick with the KMR it's probably cheaper on the internet or maybe the feed store will let you order a case.

Here's a site that has it for less (I've never used them) http://www.petvetdirect.com/home.asp?cid=180&ovcpn=&ovcrn=&ovtac=&ovrfd=&ovchn=

Be sure to check with your vet if you haven't already.
