:hi: thanks for this post...it is the kids in the ER that get me...I think I am hardened and jaded and then a really sick child comes in and we have to start all kinds of procedures and by the time I leave the room ...well...I am in tears. kids on bicycles hit by cars, fevers of unknown origins requiring spinal taps...starting IV's. I could go on...but I don't mean to dump on your thread

is a great consternation that does sadden me; to alleviate that suffering, even through what are readily seen as your & their tears, can to my mind only be recognized as proper :hug:

i do hear you on this one however...spinal taps are a whole other matter
