dixiecrats were democrats but southern democrats nearly all of them became republicans. My relatives were regular ol Truman democrats they were yankees one side blue collar the other white collar.

I'm from s.c. local tv was nauseating last week. you would have thought the man had walked on water and healed the blind. Almost nobody important showed up at his funeral. they actually pre-empted a good wimbledom match on tuesday for his service. i thought, this old red-neck is dead and still f*ucking with my life.
