A Huron man who disrobed at Aberdeen's Lakewood Mall must undergo a sexual evaluation.
Richard A. Graff, 54 and of Huron, pleaded guilty last week in Magistrate Court to one count of indecent exposure. The crime is a misdemeanor punishable by as much as a year in county jail and a $1,000 fine.
Graff was arrested earlier this year after an incident at the Lakewood Mall. Lori Ehlers, a deputy state's attorney for Brown County, said Graff asked a female Photos Now! employee to take mug shots of him. When the teenage worker turned around after getting a camera, Graff was naked. Ehlers said the worker was afraid not to take the pictures because of what she feared Graff might do to her.
Graff was sentenced to 180 days in jail, but that time was suspended. He was fined $500 and was give a year-long probation term. He may have no contact with Photos Now! and must undergo a sexual evaluation and adhere to its recommendations.
Ehlers said Graff has had similar incidents in his past, although not in Aberdeen.
