Even did a passable imitation of him. Dos Limpett was the running gag around the office. We would watch the movie during various lite work day events.

via his TV service truck! Damn that was such a great movie!! I just cracked up at the part where Reese Witherspoon goes into the Girls Room at school and there's not toilet! And of course, William H. Macy was fabulous in that film!

10. This is a true story...

I worked at Key Bank my last year of college...

My boss looked like Barney Fife.... Acted like him too...

My job was to match the checks with the statement before the machine grabbed them both and stuffed it all into an envelope....

So it wasn;t rocket science....

this guy use to come to the "room" and get really pissed cause I was crankin' the tunes, joking and having a great time at work cause really, what else are you gonna do when stuffing checks...

He would poke his head in and say things like, "You know, Mr. Green, you're future is in Statement Prep...."

Anyway, after about six or seven months he can;t stand to look at me... So he sets me up... Calls me in on a weekend and jams up the machine before I get there to make it look like I broke the machine so he could fire me with purpose...

But, the checks didn;t get there on time so I left without ever turning the machine on...

Next morning he walks me back through the warren of eye high dividers, crisply, until he get to his personal cubby... Then he starts accusing me, rather loudly, of breaking the machine.... berating me and all that good crap...

All the activity in cubby hole alley stops and listens...

I yell out to this guy, fuck off, ass hole... I never touched the machine...

He looks at me, scared cause I was towering over him....

He says, does this mean you quit....

I yelled down at him... No, I always tell my bosses to fuck off and then ask them for a raise....

Well,,,, Next thing I know security is escorting me out of the building... He snarls at me, telling me not to expect a reference from him...

I yell back, Key Bank, one of several jobs I had to work my way through college...

For two years my pic was at the front door with a warning not to let me in the building... Meanwhile, I still got free checking for three years after I was fired....
