Eagle fans now understand why the 49ers couldn't wait to get rid of Owens.

Being born & raised in SF...you know what team I love...

The Niners could of course use a talent like Owens, as long as they have that idiot owner, (Dr. John York), like they now have, the 49ers will never go anywhere...but its still worth it not having the selfish asshole like Terrell Owens on the team...

Philly fans still just don't get it...as long as Owens scores TD's that's all they care about...If TO stays around long enough, even the most gullible Philly fans will understand the disruption Owens brings to a team...He scores but his teams have never and will never be champions!

1. He's going to have a tough time finding a new team
He might be the best all-around receiver I have ever seen, but the price is just too high in terms of negative energy.

7. I guarantee you he will be signed on day one of free agency.
Unless there is a bidding war. It's insane to think someone won't take him. My nightmare is that he goes to the Cowgirls and they win the bowl.

2. I don't care how good TO is, I wouldn't want him on my team for ANY
reason under the sun. Hopefully when the Eagles cut him loose, other teams won't be stupid enough to pick him up, but I know there's going to be one team that does.

4. Many teams will, They will ALL think the disruption will be easy to put
up with if Owens scores points...They too will learn, all too soon, what a mistake they made!!!

3. The schadenfreude is delicious.
It was fun to watch him play but I'm sure glad we've seen the back of him!

6. As an Eagle fan I did not want to get rid of T.O..
I think the whole thing is stupid. Steve Young said it best yesterday. "You just ignore the things he says off the field because he always gives 100% on it." The mistake the Eagles made was responding to him. You just ignore what he says or laugh it off and use him on the field. The fact of the matter is that D-Mac is as big of a baby and egomaniac as T.O.. He and coach Reid are as responsible as anyone for this.

T.O. is not the reason the defense all of a sudden forgot how to tackle, he is not the reason Reid can't get the plays in on time and he is not the reason Donovan throws balls into the ground. T.O. wasn't the problem, saying he was is just an excuse.

The players are still saying today that they like him and didn't have a problem with him coming back.

I don't pay for season tickets to watch inferior talent and I don't care at all about what T.O. says. All that matters is what he does between the lines and there is no one better in the league.

It's easy for you to say I "don't get it" when your team has 4 rings. It's been 45 years since our last NFL Championship, I don't give a fuck if they get Charles Manson on the team as long as they win. This is not a good thing and I am not happy.

11. That is precisely what is wrong with sports today.
And why fans will continue to tolerate big babies, wife beaters, coke heads, and murderers. Because hey, who gives a damn what they do in or out of the locker room as long as they catch the ball. :eyes:

8. There are a lot of T.O. appologists here. The denial is strong.
The guy is nothing but a diva.

10. As I said in another thread - TO = Barry Bonds of football
They're both overrated as hell yet highly skilled when it comes to their position. But both havent played even ten games this season!
