I just saw the movie "Crash"
It was quite riveting. I didn't even know about this movie until a few months ago, yet it's been out for well over a year. Why didn't I hear about it? What is the matter with this country that good, quality movies like "Crash" get a small release, only to drift into video rental obscurity a few months later. Meanwhile, we have to hear about crappy "blockbusters" like "Pirates of the Carribean" for months and months.

Anyway, this was a fine film. It shows us that we still have a very long ways to go in this country on racial issues.

1. VERY L.A.
That's pretty much a vivd and accurate depiction of race relations here.

2. My husband saw it and really liked it.
It's on "On Demand" now (Comcast Cable), so I'm gonna have to rent it and watch it.

3. My boss, of all people, told me how much she liked this film.
I've heard nothing but good things, but I'm not going to watch it until I can sit down and think about it for a while.

4. I just watched it last night too
I felt like the ending was tacked-on magic realist crap that they had to do to get the rest of the movie across--which was excellent. Terrence Howard rocks.
