Don't you hate being told something "defines a generation".
Within the last 5 minutes I have been told the Broadway show "Rent" and Beavis and Butthead defined my generation. Beavis and Butthead I can see, but Rent sucks.

5. I'd say Nirvana defined my generation
Not that Nirvana was that great, but being subjected to ENDLESS Nirvana via my crappy friends framed my psyche. :(

7. I don't care because I don't really HAVE a "generation".
Too young to be a boomer, too old to be a Gen-Xer. To be honest, I'm very comfortable with that.

8. Same here
except I'm an X-Y tweener. I was too young for Nirvana and too old for Limp Bizkit.

9. You should have seen what "defined" my generation.
I'm one of those awful baby boomers. Although we've had all sorts of nonsense attached to us as definitions, I suppose our most defining characteristic was an incredible ability to fuck up consistently.

11. Rent and Beavis? See what happens when the squares are in charge?
The bastids.

Although after thinking about it, it occurs to me that they could have picked TV's "Suddenly Susan" and Counting Crows so I guess I should lighten up a bit, eh?
