I think it's really healthy in a marriage to spend time apart sometimes, don't you?

I don't get those couples that are practically attached at the hip and spend ALL their social time together, as if they can't be alone. Yuck.

I'm lucky to be married to a guy that values his independence as much as I do. We give each other a lot of freedom, which is probably why we're still going strong, after 13 yrs.

Both of us are independent, and really need our time alone or with others, so we are definitely not joined at the hip! But we also enjoy spending time together, which is also good. A good mix!

Anyway, more worried cause I didn't have the phone on being that I was at a concert and all...

So, we spend a lot of time together and a lot of time apart... She has her interests and I have mine...

We enjoy each others company but also enjoy the company of others...

BTW, the concert was good, not great, just good...
