24. The person I'm referring to isn't someone I've met in person...
but she is someone I've known online for several years.

10. shouldn't 'I don't know" be an option?
Or are you asking if I knew that I knew any DUers before registering?

It is possible that an old DUer is somebody I knew from high school or college or an old job. For all I know, my brother in law could be a DUer unbeknownst to me.

she posted here for a long time before I finally dropped in for a look just a few weeks ago. I must say she was right when she kept chastising me for waiting so long.

She is the one who found DU, and then told me about it. Neither of us could get on for awhile though, because registration was shut down. :hi:

finally convincing me that it was a good source for news on what was happening in Washington. She was right and I'm glad she pointed me here.

Thanks, Sis!

Yeah, Will and some other writers made me realize I wasn't a voice in the wilderness. At the time, I was a columnist for the Arizona Daily Wildcat and was one of the few MSM (College AP) people to write critically about PNAC. So yeah, I was pretty stoked when I first started reading his Truthout work. It captured just how I felt and what I was trying to put on paper. When I joined DU it was like tapping into a movement that felt exactly like I did.
