Research project: What was the first thing ever to go "beep"?
I have a few guesses. Anyone know when the ubiquitous "beep" entered our culture?

I mean, of course, the little electronic one. :)

1. I suppose a case could be made that the dot in morse code
was the first one, though I'm not sure that I would accept that answer.
