GREENSBURG, Pa. (Nov. 3) - A man claims his ex-girlfriend owes him more than $30,000 for gluing his genitals to his abdomen five years ago. "This was not just some petty domestic squabble," attorney Grey Pratt told a Westmoreland County jury Wednesday.

His client, Kenneth Slaby of Pittsburgh, is suing Gail O'Toole of Murrysville. His lawsuit claims the two broke up in 1999 after dating for 10 months and Slaby began dating someone else.

Slaby contends that O'Toole invited him over to her home on May 7, 2000, where he fell asleep. He woke up to find that O'Toole had used Super Glue to stick his genitals to his abdomen, glued his buttocks together and spelled out a profanity on his back in nail polish.

Helpful hint: not only will acetone remove nail polish, it will also dissolve super glue.

What if their roles had been reversed, and it had been the man supergluing the woman's buttocks and genitalia while she was out cold? Would you have posted anything even remotely resembling your above comments? Would anyone have called her "stupid" for seeking medical attention before thinking of using nail polish remover to unstick herself? Would anyone here have said that she probably "deserved" it?

I don't think so.

I suspect that the people who find this crime so very amusing wouldn't be laughing quite as hard if the man had been aggressor, and the woman the victim. Rather, we'd be hearing many fervent denunciations of misogyny, and angry demands that the domestic abuser not be let off with just a slap on the wrist.

11. The funny part is

the fact that the guy didn't wake up once when she was doing this to him.

I'm a heavy sleeper, but I would sure as hell be able to tell is somebody was applying super glue to my genitals and/or buttocks and then holding them in place for a couple minutes while the bond set.

Some of my hobbies involve the user of super glue, and I've had my share of run-ins with the stuff. And yes, that includes gluing my fingers to a paintbrush on more than one occassion when I was not being careful.

Super glue does NOT set instantly-- especially over a surface area greater than 1" square. You have to hold the pieces together for a couple minutes in order for a bond to form. Unless you were drugged, how the hell could you NOT know somebody wasn't trying to glue your butt cheeks together?
