"ROVE's WAY" Lyrics sung to "My Way" MSM and Election 2004
This will soon be part of a strip at GrandTheftElectionOhio.com but I wanted to share the lyrics I wrote:

MSNBC:

And now that oil’s too high

And so GE’s stocks are hurtin’

We wish we’d given Keith the exit polls

So everyone could be certain that Ohio’s votes were rigged

And Kerry won 2004’s Election

But oh, we screwed up big, we did it Rove’s way

VIACOM:

Regret to see you go Dan Rather

But hey, we need a media expansion

And the FCC’s been on our tits---no hard feelings

Just hope Mary Mapes keeps her trap shut. That bitch should

Know this is business, not journalism

That’s why, we did it Rove’s way

CNN:

Yes, there were times, when it was hard

To spew the same old story

How Wishy-Washy Kerry was

We spit it out, they ate it up

We were W.’s bitch,we did it Rove’s way

NYT Co.

We’ve mourned, we’ve moaned, we’ve cried

How could our paper fall so low!

And now, as tears subside, sorrow gives way to anger

We sold a war, obstructed

Justice, re-elected Bush for TV stations

We will not get. Oh why, did we did it Rove’s way?

FOX NEWS

We dance, we sing, we’re celebrating

Those Swift Boat Vets were so much fun

Who needs to wait for news, let’s spend our time creating

More stories like this, so we can do TV news Rove’s way!
