What actor and actress, who are still alive and working, have you
been watching from your childhood until now.

Mine are Michael Caine and Shirley Mclaine.---There are others, but these two stick out in my mind.

2. I am thinking
Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor, altho I don't think she works anymore. Maybe Doris Day? Probably not.

Most of them are gone.

I'm now the "older generation." I was thinking of my extended family not long ago and thinking I should go visit my uncle, when I remember that they are all gone!

Sobering thought, but life is a cycle.

HAPPY SATURDAY!

sorry...

5. Sean Connery
But I was just arriving at puberty when Sean Connery became a worldwide star so I guess I wasn't exactly a child. Stars I followed during my childhood would all be dead by now unless they were themselves child stars. I guess Elizabeth Taylor, Angela Cartwright, and Haley Mills would qualify but only Elizabeth Taylor is still doing films every now and then and I haven't seen the one she did in 2001.

6. Paul Newman
Well, he was working when he did "The Road to Perdition". Not sure if he's doing anything now.

I've been watching Newman since he did "The Hustler". I saw it as a kid and re-watched it a few years ago. It showed what an absolute first rate actor Newman was...and is.
