I know they can be very destructive to yards, and such.....

But I've always loved the deer.......

8. I love them, too

I'm in what I consider to be the very best spot in California - I'm 20 minutes from Santa Cruz, my favorite beach town, 20 minutes from San Jose, less than an hour from San Francisco, ten minutes from work and smack in the middle of the woods.

My house is surrounded by redwoods and I get deer roaming my yard all the time (they drink out of my birdbath :) ), and raccoons (the babies are adorable) and every year, the skunk who resides under one of the outbuildings has babies and we watch them play in the evening.

I love my home. :loveya:

That was back in the 1950's-60's! I graduated from SJS in 1965...

My husband and I moved to SoCal in 1968.......

Wow...we might have been almost neighbors! Depending of course on how long you've lived there.....

I had a boyfriend who's parents lived up on Skyline Blvd., near Castle Rock......

11. This is what my husbands lawn mower looks like. I'm afraid

of it. I like the old fashioned ones that you have to pull the cord a dozen times to make it go. (Our yard is sort of too big for that kind now 1&1\3 acres).

He was William Shatner's personal assistant on Invasion Iowa. He is an amazing guy. We're supposed to be at a blowout Halloween Party with him, but we were too tired from our trip to NYC.
