Steffi Alane River is Miss Casey Jones for 2005-2006. She will act as hostess for the Water Valley Casey Jones Railroad Museum during the Watermelon Carnival and at other events such as the Annual Hobo Gathering.

Miss River attends Water Valley High School where she is a member of the Beta Club and is on the Honor Roll. She is also a WVHS Cheerleader and Blue Devil Diamond Girl. She attends the First Baptist Church and is a member of the Youth Group and Youth Choir.

Miss River is the daughter of Keith and Jayne River of Water Valley. Her grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. R.N. Edgar of Water Valley and Mr. and Mrs. Henry River of Pinckneyville, Illinois. Her great-grandfather, Mr. Felix Bagguley worked in the IC Railroad shop in Water Valley and her great-grandfather, Mr. Henry River, Sr., made steel equipment for the ICRR in Granite City, Illinois.
