Mobile billboards (signs towed by trucks) should be against the law...
Not only to they block drivers vision, they are an eyesore. For that matter ,those totally painted-up ad vans should go too, ugly as hell and bigtime distraction. I seethe I see them.

1. they're banned in many, many cities. Check your local regulations and,
if they're not, then lobby your local city council to make a new law... it's very common to prohibit them, it shouldn't be a big deal. They ARE nasty.

City Council people LOVE doing the easy stuff like this. It makes them feel like they're doing stuff, lol.

Lobby the council person who's next up for re-election.
