3. I just saw Art Garfunkel Live at WXPN's Singer/Songwriters festival in PA
Damn he's still got a great voice. He had some great new songs from his new album with Maia Sharp and Buddy Mondlock, but played the classics that we could all sing along too.

Might pick up his new album Everything waits to be Noticed next time I go on a CD buying spree

5. Ohh S&G!
Enjoy. I am listening to the locusts on a hot summer night and watching an old Bill Cosby routine with my oldest and smiling a lot when he talks about his kids.

16. I've been home from school for the summer
Not as much internet access and time, so been limited to visiting DU only a couple times a week.

Nice to see I was missed though :-)

13. I love S&G!
The others aren't bad either in my book.

I've been listening to these today so far:

Brad Paisley - Mud On The Tires: this is his first country masterpiece! It's hard not to give it an A+ with this kind of country ingenuity. It's better than the new George Strait (A) and Brooks And Dunn (A-) - those two are hard to beat with those grades. Especially in mainstream country where the truly great albums aren't commonplace.

New Pornographers - Electric Version: in my top 10 of the year! Brilliant bubblegum alternative as I call it.

Michelle Branch - The Spirit Room: still a gem - the new one is more mature, but not necessarily more enjoyable. Both get solid As. The new one might have been an A+ with more diverse songwriting and more guitar work.

Go Gos - God Bless The Go Gos: they rock just as much as ever - even harder, in fact. Also, the coolness factor is shown just by Billy Joe Armstrong working with them. I love this CD! Even the whiny "Daisy Chain" is touching.
