The Ultimate Movie Challenge –for real fans (or lucky guesses)

Tonight you have some lyrics of song associated with the movie. The correct answer will be the name of the movie and the names of the two male co-stars. Good Luck.

(1)
They say there's a tree in the forest,
A tree that will give you a sign

(2)
so I just did me some talking to the sun,
and I said I didn't like the way he got things done,
sleeping on the job

(3)
Goin' where the weather suits my clothes
Bankin' off of the northeast winds

(4)
Goin' places that I've never been.
Seein' things that I may never see again

(5)
I'm afraid He'll have to go.
His magnets ruin my radio
And if I have a wreck He'll leave a scar.
Riding down a thoroughfare
With His nose up in the air,
A wreck may be ahead, but He don't mind

(6)
For six long years I've been in trouble
No pleasures here on earth I found
For in this world I'm bound to ramble
I have no friends to help me now.

(7)
Coming to you, on a dusty road
Good loving, I got a truck load
and when you get it, you got something
So don't worry, 'cause I'm coming

(8)
The river flows
It flows to the sea
Wherever that river goes
That's where I want to be
Flow river flow
Let your waters wash down
Take me from this road
To some other town
