For those of you who dont know, this snotball of humanity outed the alleged rape victim of Kobe Byant on national radio yesterday. Seems like the guys at Smoking Gun have uncovered some interesting facts on this WIFEBEATER.

In 1993, Leykis beat his wife, pled guilty and was sentenced to a batterer's program and probation.

Tom Leykis, 47, was busted in December 1993 after his then-wife Susan told cops that he struck her in the head with a drinking glass during an argument in their home. Leykis then allegedly "pushed the victim's head into a brick fireplace" and "threatened to kill her," according to the below Boston Police incident report, which notes that officers observed a large bump on Susan Leykis's head as well as scratch marks on one forearm....

Leykis, whose show is now syndicated, first disclosed the alleged victim's name Tuesday. He has argued that it is not fair that only Bryant's name--and not his accuser--has been made public. Tom and Susan Leykis were divorced in April, according to Los Angeles Superior Court records.

he's actually a Dem. He started off trying to be the 'liberal' Rush, with the same loudmouth attitude Rush has but on the liberal side. Started during the Clinton-Lewinsky days, was a big Clinton defender.

Maybe I am sheltered or an extremely good judge of character, but the VAST majority of men in my life, straight or gay, close friend or co-worker are sensitive, respectful and would never dream of mocking a potential rape victim even if withholding judgement on the accused. They don't monitor every word that comes out of their mouth but don't naturally resort to degrading or demeaning language.

They don't use the pretense of equality to antagonize.

When one of the girls at the office was raped in the parking lot in the early morning hours a few years back, the guys decided to take turns showing up early and make sure nobody male or female ws left in the building alone.

Again, after seeing some of the low class, ignorant remarks about rape victims, all I can say is I am blessed.

Interesting none of these fellas claims to have FALSE charges leveled against them and all of them have sex lives. Wonder what that's all about.

17. I used to listen to him....

around the time of the Oklahoma City bombing...back then he ranted and raved about the "right wing wackos and convicted felons" and at first he was cool to listen to. But then, he started aiming at that LCD factor with his incessant harping against women (hey he's 47 and has been married five times?) that grew incessantly worse...this was about the time his mug got plastered on the sides of buses around here, looking for ratings like any other MW I guess...Ever seen his picture? Reminds me of an Elton John-Troll hybrid, only creepier...I don't even know if he's broadcast locally, shows how much I know I guess...

God! As an aside, Alan Colmes had a show heard here (before Hannity) and it was nationally syndicated, 2 hrs. weekdays, and when he'd get calls, it was usually a right winger attacking him for his stupidity, and the idiot was so starved for callers, I guess, that he'd always try to make friends with them! This show tanked badly, it sucked so bad they pulled it and replaced him with David Brenner!
