What is the Greatest Rap Album of All Time?
I say it is Dr. Dre's "The Chronic"

1. Public Enemy -- Fear of a Black Planet
Or any of the first three PE albums. I would also suggest:

Run-DMC -- Tougher Than Leather
NWA -- Straight Outta Compton

2. Got 'em all.
The Chronic is still better in my opinion.

4. Fair enough. Chronic had too many P-Funk samples for my taste. I would
rather just crank my P-Funk albums instead.

To be fair, in terms of crossover sales and influence I can definitely see the argument for Chronic, but for originality I'd have to go with the others.

Of course, if Chronic just sounds better to your ear, then I say rock on.

3. "Low End Theory"
by A Tribe Called Quest. "The Chronic" is pretty good, though.

6. I know mentioning a contemporary album in threads like this is heresy...
But I'd have to say Deltron 3030.

Absolutely brilliant album.
