I have only watched one episode.. I did admire Jason Lee as a youth for being the king of the 360 flip.

3. I like it a lot.

It's smart and it's easy to relate to it. Jason Lee breaks character a lot though. His accent comes and goes.

I especially like how each episode adds to the universe of the show. People that show up in one episode aren't just there to further the plot. Ex: the gay guy that Earl helps in the first episode participates in other episodes.
