Saturday Night DOA???

I knew the show was in deep, deep trouble when I realized that the cast lineup was esentially the same as last season. There's only been one funny skit tonight, and that was the "Will Forte as Nero" opener.

The rest of the show put me to sleep, except for Catherine Zeta-Jones' opening tap-jazz number (oh, baby...) and Frank Ferdinand's first musical number (these guys may be on to something).

It appealed to my 14-year-old sense of humor. I was hysterical.

I gotta look those guys up on Amazon. I haven't heard that kind of power pop since the early 80s.
