Ok, I know a lot of you get this. But it bears saying. We humans have a natural prediliction to complain about things and a natural reluctance to compliment people and ideas. This is why flame wars last longer than good ideas on the net.

A good idea is there and gone becuase no one will speak up for it. But a bad idea or a controvercial idea will last forever.

We are progressives. In order to make progress we have to talk about progressive ideas. It can't just be about the bad ideas other people have.

So if someone says something you agree with add your voice to their's. Keep in the medium we have here it will also keep the good idea alive for others to see.
