Did you ever see Birth?
The movie with Nicole Kidman? It was stupid and the kid was creepy.

She had a nice haircut though.

3. I saw a Caesarean section once.
It was pretty neat. Well, messy, but a cool thing to see.

8. This was a 9lb breach baby boy
He looked very good. It was a planned C-section but amazing how quickly they took the baby out- just a couple of minutes. Appeared to be much easier on the baby. It would have been very difficult in his position to have a natural delivery.

4. No but if the haircut was that amazing long curly reddish hair she...
...has in some of her movies then I'm gonna watch it tonight. Nothing turns a beauty into a goddess like long curly red hair.

5. No it was all cut off like a boy's cut - sorry. But it did look
great on her. Bad, bad movie. Kept thinking it would improve but it never did.

7. Thanks for the warning then.
That movie could have singlehandedly ruined 93% of my dreams.

9. Interesting you bring this up--
as I was tossing around the idea of asking about it here in the lounge. You saved me the effort.

The ads for it creeped me out so much. I don't get why anyone made a film with such a premise--it seemed so gross...

Was it as bad as I thought it would be?

10. It was freaking boring. Now a lot of reviewers on IMDB think it
is a great film - they particularly appreciate the 2 entire minutes when the camera is on Nicole Kidman's face - something about the range of emotion and becoming one with the character.

Perhaps I'm too superficial but I really care about the story and this story really didn't hold my interest.

You might feel differently.

11. I doubt I would feel any differently than you did...
the premise gave me the creeps. Her husband comes back, reincarnated as a little boy, and he's still in love with her? Eeeeeuuuwww! Just seem like a sensational way for the film makers to try to make a buck. I have no interest in seeing it at all...

I do appreciate your review. I was sincerely interested if the film had ANY redeeming value. Sounds like it didn't.

Who knows what motivates critics these days? LOL!
