FARSCAPE creator addresses rumors
The Karlsweb Newscape fansite is covering the Burbank FARSCAPE Creation convention taking place this weekend, and of primary interest is what is not being said by the show's stars and creators. However, if you read between the lines you may have the answer you were hoping for regarding the rumors of the show's imminent return.

When show creator Rockne O'Bannon took to the stage on Saturday, he told the crowd that there wasn't any news he could give about the FARSCAPE rumors. Indeed, he went on, he really shouldn't even be at this con because he should be "at home right now writing hour three."

O'Bannon also said that he was planning on being on a conference call in the near future involving 25 other people, none of whom he would name. However, he did add that FARSCAPE producers Brian Henson and David Kemper are in Australia at the moment working on something. Hmm, wonder what that could be?

1. Farscape
is simply awesome. I honestly believe it's one of the best science fiction series on television, ever. Yes, including the entire Star Trek franchise.

The writing while it was on before was simply phenomenal. The characters were/are so multidimensional, so capable of real emotion in a genre all too often devoid of it. Add to it the occasional deadpan humor ("Hold it right there or I'll shoot you with... with.... bright little bolts of light!" -Crighton, or almost all of the body-switching episode) and the incredible set design... well.

Farscape just rocks.

I wonder how they'll bring John and Aeryn back, though. It looked as if they died at the end of the series finale.

2. You've made my day. :)
Yippee!

I had given up hope months ago. Now I can cross my fingers again and hope to find out what happened to John and Aeryn in the boat.

3. eh
How are they going to wrap up everything up in 4-6 eps? The show was intended to be 5 seasons (maybe even 6)

My Feeling: It won't please everyone. You will have the people who are happy just because it's Farscape

Then you will have people who will talk about plot holes, and how some plot lines were wrapped up to quickly and/or poorly,..... or not at all

Then there will be those who will say that it wasn't worth it, it wasn't a great ending. They should have held out for 13 episodes, or a full season

And then the whole Fan Campaign will be again.

Farscape Seasons 1 & 2 = Great

Farscape Season 3 = Eh, started off OK... went downhill

Farscape Season 4 = Just plain awful

(Just my opnion off course)
