I would think perhaps a dry white, but perhaps I am wrong...

2. I would think that would only be the case if you chopped them up
and simmered them in marinara sauce...

7. Wouldn't you have to chop them up?
My oven is way too small for a whole one and I don't have any pans big enough either. Were you thinking an outdoor BBQ, roasting them whole? In which case I am thinking a beer would be better, or maybe a nice vodka tonic.

Eating the rich would leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Yuck. Stick with stuff that has more nutritional value.

Chateau d' Y'Quem 1990 (half bottle) 250.00, one of the most expensive wines in the world. ok if you like sauternes. should go well with the fatty pork flavor of the rich.
