Need bridesmaid advice URGENT
Okay, so the maid on honor in my wedding fell yesterday and "rolled" her ankle (anyone who has ever done this knows the pain). The wedding is tomorrow in LAS VEGAS and she can't wear her shoes, has to be wheeled about in the airport, etc.

Any advice on creative footwear? I don't care if she is wearing flip flops, personally.

Thanks

1. let her wear whatever feels best for her
if that's a sock with an ace wrap - then go with that.

I was on crutches in a wedding once and had to sit down during it while the others were standing. It was no big deal really.

Relax and enjoy your wedding!

2. She's the one who is freaking out...poor thing
I told her I could care less what she wore, but she is seeking ideas. Thanks for the idea, maybe letting her know that others thought it would be okay to just go with what feels comfy will put her at ease.

7. Tell her "I" said to wrap it up with a bandage and sock :-)
She will be in so much pain later if she tries to shove it in a shoe it will NOT be worth it. She needs to save up the swelling for later in the day when the party starts :D

9. She liked this plan!!!!
She is most amused by this idea and is sending her SO out to fetch satin-like slippers.

5. A lot of wedding type stores that sell invitations, etc.,
sell 'wedding sneakers'. They are designed for the bride to wear at the reception.

6. Call Medical Supply Stores in your area and get her a
walking boot. They are ugly, but she will be able to stand....here is what one looks like.

10. One of the groomsmen can wheel her about.
And don't worry, you'll do something to top that.

In retrospect the very best things about weddings are often the things that go wrong.

11. Wheel her around, heck, we already told him
he has to throw her over his shoulder a la caveman.

The ironic part of all of it is that I rolled my ankle about 3 weeks ago, the groom fell carrying his weight set out of his house when he moved into mine, and now this. We are like the walking wounded.

12. Just decorate the heck out of her...
My best friend was on crutches a lot in high school and we had the best time wrapping ribbons and whatnot around her crutches for pep rallies and football games. Get ribbons and sparkly things and the like in your wedding colors and go nuts on her wheelchair or crutches or whatever.

14. That's funny
Heck, she can do away with the dress and we can just mummify her in a wheelchair!
