I am taking my Daughter out for a night on the town...

Actually not "on the town", but My friend/cousin in law and I are going to go out to dinner and a show with her. Kind of a "grown up" thing. Usually she is stuck home with "the little kids (2,7, and 8) and the Dads. I figured this will be a nice change. We're going out for MiddleEastern and then hopefully I can talk them out of wanting to see "Elizabethtown"...I hope. :hi:

Yes, Elizabethtown just doesn't seem like it's going to be a good movie. I usually like Cameron Crowe films but this one looks too self-indulgent.

It's pretty neat when your kids get old enough to be your friends. I'm very close to my two daughters - unfortunately neither of them live nearby so we can't hang out but we talk about everything, like girlfriends, now that they're in their 20's. It's neat - I'm still the mom and they call me with "mom questions" but we're also pals. Pretty cool.
