I'd like to nominate two! Rep. John Conyers :patriot: and Pres. Hugo Chavez of Venezuela! :yourock:
John for everything he quietly and doggedly does to protect our rights in every corner and Hugo for not only surviving our stinking government, but behaving with grace and offering to help poor U.S. citizens!
One good thing about bad times? Heroes come out...and there are many these days!
1. Joss Wheden. And the guy who told us to kill our tv sets BECAUSE
we need to live our own lives. Not live it vicariously by watching a glowing box filled with bad actors. (and the irony that the friends in "Friends" don't own a tv set. Of course, given where they live, they would need 2+ jobs each to live that fancy life and a $2000 HDTV is beyond question...)
