2. Too expensive for me alone.
Maybe if I had a cult and enough money. Nothing like being a cult-leader in a building designed to take direct hits from nukes

6. if I could afford it, hell yes!
I mean,

"LOCATION

Exclusive airport subdivision nestled in upstate NY'S Adirondack State Park.

FEATURES

FAA/DOT approved private paved runway 20 acres of manicured ground, forest and trails (with additional 85 acres available), privacy, security and low taxes. Year-round activities."

I guess I'd have to have an airplane, too....

7. Have you seen Home Movie? One of the subjects in the
documentary is this hippie family that lives in a converted silo. I wouldn't want to do it, but it was neat to see what they did with it.

8. yeah but
in this case it appears to be much too expensive for the square footage of actual living space involved

i guess i need a fixer-upper nuclear missile silo

i know someone who talked abt doing this in the early 80s, alas, it was all talk, if only we had investigated further...$2.3 million indeed
