I had to tell somebody!

Will I be safe from Bush there? Or at least safer? Or at least he won't irritate the snot out of me quite as much from afar and I will live longer because I won't stroke out when I scream at him on the news every night? :evilgrin:

I live in Hereford which is just off the Welsh border, an hour or so from Cardiff. It's a beautiful part of the country, if I may say so myself!

It's easier to avoid the right-wing media over here (BBC & Channel 4 News on TV; Guardian & Independent (& Mirror) in print), but you do have to put up with Blair trying to out-flank the Tories. We've also just started to get the Daily Show! Please come & visit us in the UK forum.

I think you'll still scream at Bush on the news every night. (And if you were born and raised here, you'll find that a few thousand miles isn't going to change the way you feel much). BUT, you'll be living in the UK with all that incredible history and culture, not to mention beauty everywhere you look....Best of luck!
