Maybe next time I'm in Germany

I think the Oberammergau Passion play is in 2008 too. That would be something to see.

2. I'm a huge Wagner's Ring cycle fan, but,
I keep hearing that the Bayreuth cycle is a disappointment; that they coast on their reputation, putting out mediocre shows, while Vienna, Berlin and San Francisco all put on superior cycles.

I dunno for sure. I just heard it somewhere. I still would like to visit the Festival Town someday.
