Nick Lachey, 31 (Mr. Jessica Simpson) picks up date at high school game

Nick Lachey, creepy football Lothario: Maybe we've arrived at the root of the recent Simpson/Lachey breakup rumors. Star magazine has a story from Danielle Calo, a 19-year-old college student, who says Lachey picked her up at a high school football game. "He asked what I was doing later, and I told him I wasn't sure," she says. "At one point when we were chatting, a woman behind us started yelling, 'Where's Jessica? Where's Jessica?' Nick ignored her, but I actually found it funny." He eventually got her back to his hotel room -- after stopping off at Hooters -- but she insists nothing more than making out happened: "I knew the opportunity to do more was there, but a part of me kept thinking that he's very married, so I was uncomfortable about doing anything else -- and I told him so. From that point on, Nick never forced anything, and we never went into his bedroom." The magazine, going for credibility, also put Calo through a polygraph test and says she passed. Naturally, a rep for Lachey protests, "This story is completely untrue." (Star)

1. Why did she go back to his room?
This whole story sounds dumb.

Why would Nick Lachey, *knowing* high schools are where most of his and his wife's fans come from, show up there publicly and try to pick up some teenyboppers?

Why would she go to a hotel room with a guy she's known about an hour?

???

4. And why would she be comfortable with "making out"
while knowing he's married, but nothing else? Either married men are off limits or they're not.

8. I can understand, kinda....she's 19 and he's famous.
I can see that being something to do and regret later, at her age.

I guess his fame would explain why she'd go to the hotel room...but I don't know. I'm trying to think, if SRK invited me to a hotel room 10 years ago, what I'd do. I do think I'd be too freaked out to actually go--too weird and creepy. He's married. And even at that age you know what "hotel room" means. I think my opinion of him would change right at that moment.

Um, I love SRK. :loveya:

10. Those two "people" (for lack of better word) are dumb.
It's all about their egos. That's why they became politicians actors in the first place.

Whoops, wrong topic... no 'tics here, 'tis the lounge. :D

Can I borrow it from time to time?

3. Why can't the media just ignore these fucks?
There is no reason that anyone needs to know this stuff.

6. Because Star magazine sells big.
If the public weren't buying, the media wouldn't be selling.
