How much do I love my cat?
Pat Robertson's on CNN and I can't stand to listen to him. But the kitty is sound asleep on top of the remote. She has me hemmed in so I can't get up and change the channel. I can feel my blood pressure rise. That guy's a nutcase!

2. uh
some TVs have channel changers on them. Unless the remote is on your lap-then nevermind. You'll have to live through the pain until kitty decides it's time to move.

3. Mine does but I couldn't get to it.
She's right up against me and I'd have to crawl over her to get out and go over to the TV. She woke up during the commercial and I rescued the remote from beneath her. :)

4. Yeah i don't know what it is about them
cats and small dogs, now in my experience...I mean cats *never* say to themselves: "Oooh. She's doing the Sunday NYT crossword. I won't jump up on the table and plop my ass down right in the middle of it."
Just like my dog-she *never* says to herself: "Mom's on the computer. I'm gonna hop up and lick her face now!"

6. You don't think so? ;>)
When my Aby wants something, he walks up and nips my arm. If I ignore him, he looks for something to knock over. No kidding! Then he looks at me to see if I'm watching and he knocks it over. Yesterday he pushed a whole stack of magazines off the coffee table. Most of our knick-knacks are glued down with museum putty, just to keep them cat-proof.

Sophie, the one who's with me now, walks across the computer and swishes her fluffy tail under my nose. Achoo! She wouldn't just SIT on the crossword -- she'd take a bite out of the corner. It's all accidental, of course. You gotta love 'em!
