Happy Thanksgiving!

Are you doing the turkey thing today or Monday? (Or are you like me and scoring on both days?)

1. No turkey for me

My brother & SIL are coming down from Edmonton today. We're going out to dinner (with my nephew, who also lives here in Calgary). I'm shooting for steak & lobster. Then tomorrow, we will go to the zoo. I love the zoo. Just a big kid at heart, I guess. Hope you have a good thanksgiving yvr girl!

Actually, we are having ham & scalloped potatoes (today). We usually do the Turkey at Christmas time.

3. Sad T'giving for me

Everyone is off to the in-laws as usual, except for me. I'm sick, a bad yeast infection (in my throat!). What's worse, we got a beautiful free-range turkey at the Millarville market. So they have the nice dinner while I stay home forcing down overcooked macaroni. At least I can look forward to hot turkey sammiches later in the week.
