2. Predictably pathetic Michigan defense

I could post this every week, Seems like I do. Michigan won't win anything significant with the current defensive mindset; go ahead and score 20+, we'll get a bit more.

It was tied at 20 with two minutes left and 3rd and 10 for the Gophers at about their own 25. Minus the starting QB, Minnesota was just trying to get into OT but the incompetent Michigan defense prevented that. A basic running play on 3rd and 10 turned into a 60 yard dash down the sideline and set up the winning FG.

5. It was pretty depressing in the Big House

I thought we'd go to overtime, but no such luck. I got home about an hour ago. I'm not used to having a totally bad season, but this one is sure going to be. Time to start thinking about a new coach. The fans won't stand for this.

If we hadn't missed two field goals, if Henne had been able to throw the ball to the receivers, etc., etc., we could have pulled it off, but it just wasnt' meant to be. In the end, in the grand scheme of world events, it's just football, but it is pretty depressing when you're used to winning. Breaston's kick-off return was the best play of the game.
