I don't understand why you're thanking me, when it's you who made me believe in true love again. I don't think two people have fit more perfectly together in the entire history of time. OK, maybe there was some caveman couple that came close, but since their vocabulary was limited to two words ("grok" and "ooga"), they couldn't talk for hours like we can.

I can't wait either. I hope I don't spontaneously combust beforehand!!

I don't remember ever believing in it period until now. If you aren't some serious good Karma after several years of weirdness leading me to that garden that fateful day, I don't know what is.

If we are sappy people, forgive us. After a lifetime of being these emotionally expressive, passionate, yet geeky and domestic (with underlying liberal, humanist and creative tendencies) people who kept trying to fit those other round pegs into our square holes and constantly getting heartbroken and felt as though there were something wrong with us, we finally met the one other person where there was no trying anymore. Where it just was.

Thank you, my sweet. Thank you Democratic Underground for ultimately bringing the two of us together. If this site disappeared tomorrow, it will forever profoundly have changed my life for the better.

I ended things last year with thoughts that I'd be alone probably for a long time. I thought I'd date, but since I never exactly meshed with anyone before, I never thought I would completely. Once I let go of that and was okay with being alone, life changed for me because I felt okay with me. I was ready for something else.

Anyway, if I were to give anyone advice who feels stuck is to not let anything make you afraid to let go. There are worse things in life than money problems or changes. Life is full of good things. :)
