1. Is it a cold front?.....
...We're from Tennessee. I remember the first time my wife and I went up there to see a Vikings game, we walked into the game with T-shirts on. During the game, the announcer actually said that an "artic" front had passed through. When we walked out of the stadium after the game, it was a different world. I'd never felt such a hard cold as that. We ran to the closest shop open to the stadium, and bought sweaters. When they say a cold front is blowing through up there, they mean it...

3. Actually I think it is a warm front
It has been in the 40s the past couple of days, supposed to be in the high 60s tomorrow and Sunday.

The saying here is: If you don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes, it'll change.

7. It has been raining here in NC for days now. They call this thing tropical
storm Tammy or something like that. I'm tired of it already. It actually rains more when I step outside too. I've noticed that. It's no coincidence either. The sun actually started to come out today and I thought it would be a great time to run to the dump and then to the post office. The minute I stepped outside, it started pouring again.

And the aches have been ferocious. I think I may be getting carpal tunnel, but considering the fact that I am one of the brazilian uninsured Americans, I have to just live with it.

The power went off tonight too just to add to the misery. I called the number and they said it would be 2 hours before it came back on. I missed Numb3rs and griped the first hour. Finally, I took some pain meds for arthur and started feeling better. The second hour, I broke out the acoustic guitar and played by candlelight. I am mellower now and feeling like partying in the Lounge. I think I'll ask the bartender for a strawberry dacquary. I haven't drank anything since New Year's Eve. Feeling like letting loose. I have a long weekend and want to party. Let's get snockered and sit in the virtual sauna and feel the aches and pains dissolve.

13. Yuck!
Take care of yourself! Migraines are hell. I haven't had one in years, but I hated it when I had them. Used to blind me in my right eye. Hope you get over yours soon.

15. Its seasonal
Weather starts shifting and I start looking for dark places to hide in. I love the seasons of spring and fall but the weather shifts are murder on my skull.

19. Take a hot bath

My sure cure for damn near anything is ibuprofin followed by a hot bath, a cup of hot tea, and a good book.
