Curious as to how it works...sounds like no modem is needed, just the wifi cards

And I've never had a probablem with it. edit: I have a DSL modem w/ splitters on each jack. edit 2: I just added a router (nonwireless, but it was a freebie so..) so I could dial in to work from home.

2. I have Comcast. But a modem is needed. The WiFi cards are
used if you have a wireless router or if you get a wireless access point.

4. The ads make it sound like they have set up a widespread
wireless network that all one needs is access cards, no routers.

6. I couldn't find more about their wireless. However, they may give you
a wireless access point (WAP). Give them a call and see what they say.

There's a modem, though, at least with mine. Outside of their crappy customer service, the DSL is good.
