For Daily Show fans
How long does it take between the "moment of Zen" and the first stupid utterance out of Colin Quinn's mouth does it take you to change the channel?

2. just before that idiot begins speaking
I don't know why, I just don't like Colin Quinn. Maybe it's his voice or something, he just rubs me the wrong way.

Like I really want to watch a bunch of second and third-rate comedians sit around and talk about things they don't understand.

10. I'm with you
When I want to see people talking about things they don't understand, I stick with DU/FR.

3. JESUS F CHRIST - Joseph Wilson
Is tonight's guest, according to their website.

Just when I started to fear Viacom was going to take the show to an all-starlets-as-guests format.

4. that should make up for last night's slimy guest...
I don't mind Colin, actually. There is an annoying freeper on his show occasionally, but Colin is ok. Not a barrel of laughs, but I don't mind him... I think with the format of his show, he's pretty good at it...

IMHO, that is :-)

and I am over waiting for Family Guy on Carton Network.

I actually watched some of that nasty, ill tempered, POS show when Jon Stewart was on it. He looked so uncomfortable hanging out with those losers. I know the network made him do it, just like they make him promo the show.

11. I generally don't.
I like Colin Quinn, to me he seems kind of like an everyman. He's not terribly eloquent, but he's usually funny in his own way. I like the show because you get a variety of viewpoints and even when I don't agree with them, I usually find them funny.

I think the show is the real Politically Incorrect. Where as it's refreshing to see people expressing their views without fear of reprimand, often times they take it way too far. Some of the stuff on that show seems overtly racist, but then again, it's usually balanced enough so one side never gets in too much talking time.

Some of the guest comics can be quite good. They range from Comedy Central regulars (Lewis Black, John Stewart, Dave Attell etc.) to seasoned pros like Seinfeld. I recommend just checking it out with an open mind and expect to be offended. Yeah, it's often crude, but crude can be funny sometimes.

8. Less time than it takes for Colin Quinn to make that utterance.
I've seen parts of his show a few times and was not impressed. Some of the comedians he has on there could be movie stars -- playing vampires or monsters. Unfortunately, what I've seen of their mental states, as reflected by what they thought were jokes, suggests that they don't have what it takes to be vampires or monsters -- though perhaps they could be movie stars.

9. I have seen some episodes that were good
But it is usually time I wish I had back. I am usually asleep by 11:30, and that is my tranquilizer. :boring:

12. Less than a second
Normally, I'm not very coordinated, but I have cat-like reflexes when it comes to changing channel between those two shows. It's like 'the how fast can I hit the snooze button' game.

13. Question
Is Colin Quinn always a Bush a$$ kisser or is it only when I'm watching? Every time he goes off on a tangent about how the Iraq people should be oh so glad we liberated them, I turn the channel. If I wanted to watch yet another I Love Shrub show, I wouldn't have taken Faux off my TV. (I like Patrice, though.)

14. I don't even let the credits roll...
I hate Colin Quinn's show. I turn off the TV after TDS, and if I'm still not tired enough to sleep, I read until I drop off.
