14. I was going to mention that.

The bands dream sequences were a bit spiritual in nature: Plant and Pages alluded to Tolkien. JP Jones set in a different time period playing the pipe organ in a cathedral. Bonham living fast, hard and free.

Grants fantasy was playing a mobster or hitman gunning down his opponents. :eyes:

The worlds most overrated, undertalented guitarist. In a perfect world, somebody would tie his arms behind his back for good.

Jones, OTOH, is a genius. His post-Zep production work has proven that in spades. Plant is no slouch, either, and IMHO his voice is better now than it ever was with Zep. Turns out he can sing after all.

Never was a Bonzo fan. I always thought him a hackier, louder version of Keith Moon, who was a god amongst men. But that just my $.02.

12. Page is one of the most overrated guitar players ever

live, his stuff was embarrasingly weak. He needed the studio to put together guitar parts because he just wasn't a good soloist.

I am not even going to get into Plant.

Bonzo and Jones are the only redeeming factors about Zep's music. Jones was a very good bassist, and Bonzo was a solid if unimaginative drummer

Although I think I might like Bonham a bit better. On the Zep bootleg stuff I have it is embarrassing listing to both Plant and Page. Not only did Page need the studio, Plant used quite a bit of studio effects to do his thing. It's cool with me if people dig Zeppelin, and I know they didn't "suck", I just don't find them to be as awesome as most people.
